Now you are ready to install the second 2x4. Line up the right,
or outside most edge of the 2x4 with your mark on the wall and drive in a screw at
the base. Then line up the edge at the top with your mark on the wall and
drive in the screw. If your screws are missing the stud, leave them in and
drill some new holes in the 2x4 where you know they
will make contact with the stud. Next fasten the remaining screws.
Now you just need to line up the remaining 4 studs with the lines in the
center and install them just like you did the first. |
