    Sphere climbing holds starter pack:

  • Designed to fit both M10 and 3/8" bolts.

  • 25% Calisto,
    37% Europa
    38% Pluto
    (3" to 2.25" Diameter balls)

  • Seamless grip area.
  • Made with pure polyurethane.
  • Designed by Steve Dison.
  • Released 2014/11/21.

  • To help increase shipping speed, we've decided to keep stock of our most popular colors (Red, Blue, Green & Orange)
  • Orders for Non-Stocked colors will need to be manufactured. Please allow 2-3 days for production.

  • On Overhanging Walls: Excellent for experienced climbers. Usable on any wall included completely horizontal roof sections. The steeper the wall, the harder they get. These guys are all small enough to be used as pinches or incut crimps for most adults.

  • On Vertical Walls: Use them as incut crimps, or open handed for both kids and adults. These guys stick out far enough from the wall to work well as secure footholds whether you use climbing shoes or not. Many of our customers climb barefoot, and there are no holds more comfy than these!

  • Kids Climbing Walls: Recommended for children 2.5 years and up. This is an excellent starter pack for families new to climbing. If you are looking for a Kids Only set, this is going to be better than the 'Galileo' set which also includes some 3.5" diameter spheres. The smaller sizes are great for small hands especially when the bigger spheres are used for feet. As kids grow you can switch that up and keep them challenged!

This set is a little more challenging than the Guppies package.

    Who is Kepler?
  • Johannes Kepler was born on December 27, 1571.
  • In 1596, while a mathematics teacher in Graz, he wrote the first outspoken defense of the Copernican system, the Mysterium Cosmographicum.
  • Later he moved to Prague to work with the renowned Danish astronomer, Tycho Brahe. He inherited Tycho's post as Imperial Mathematician when Tycho died in 1601. Using the precise data that Tycho had collected, Kepler discovered that the orbit of Mars was an ellipse. In 1609 he published Astronomia Nova, delineating his discoveries, which are now called Kepler's first two laws of planetary motion.
  • Kepler published the Epitome Astronomiae in 1621 which discussed all of heliocentric astronomy in a systematic way.
