What is a cosmetic second? Cosmetic seconds are climbing holds that are fully functional, but they just don't look right. People usually describe Steve this way! Since we can't sell them as Grade A top quality grips, they can be purchased here at a significant discount. Possible flaws include:
- Color came out too dark or too light.
- There is a spot of another color that shouldn't be there.
- Surface imperfections caused by bubbles, etc.
- Texture didn't come out exactly right.
- Holds are extras from a custom color that we poured, and therefore cannot sell with our regular stock.
- Missing the washer.
Terms and conditions:
Three Ball Climbing cannot guarantee the availablility of any particular size or style of cosmetic seconds. We reserve the right to substitute hold sizes we are lacking, with the same value (determined by weight) of holds in a different size. For example if you order 2 medium seconds and we don't have them, we will ship one large hold or 4 small holds instead.
If we run out of holds before your order is complete, we need to know what to do with the excess funds. Please use the options on the cart button to let us know if you would like us to use refund the excess funds, or apply them to full priced holds.
We don't usually have more than 200 seconds in stock at any one time. If you are looking for 200 holds or more, please call or email us to check availability.
We will do our best to ship your preferred grip types. (jugs, crimps, etc.) If one of your preferred grip types are not available, we will ship the closest thing we have to it.
All sales of cosmetic seconds are final. Orders for cosmetic seconds cannot be refunded or traded. |
